Should i buy a PS3 when i already got a 360?

well my mum just inherited 30grand and i got 10k. 1k which i can spend now and 9k for when im 18. so i wanted a new toy =D

i got a 360. but the 360 has had so many letdowns in games which the ps3 exclusive games dont seem to have as many. and it appears to run better. by the way i am not an achievement vvhore.

i got a HD tv that is beutiful.

but i dont want to use it for media. psp basicly anything apart from games. as its a console. it should be for gaming not for watching a film. anyway id rather sit in my chair and watch it on my pc =D much easier.

so basicly is it worth getting a ps3 when i already got a 360 and i dont have a psp. wont watch films. just for games games games.

also as i might be moving to canada are they region free?

yea i think u shud get one ive been happy wit mine an im sure other members who own one will tell u that they're happy with theirs. it does have some flaws but im sure sony will fix them in the future. an yes it is region free so u can game all over the world lol. an its a blu ray player too so tht shud go nice wit ur beautiful HDTV i think u shud get it

Yes, if you really want the exclusive games that are coming out this year like, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Killzone 2, Haze, Final Fantasy, Resistance 2 and some others that I can't think of right now, but if you aren't really interested in those games, just stick with the 360 and save that $1,000 for better things.

I have had my PS3 since Launch and really love my system. It would be a good buy for you if only you plan to use it as often as your 360. Enjoy kid.

I own both systems and would definitely recommend that anyone who can afford it should buy both consoles. I love both systems and enjoy all the exclusives each console has to offer. Buy the PS3. You won't regret it. MCNewYork87

yes the 80 gig is going away very sad ik.... not really there prolly going to come out with something better so thats not a big deat and it u want space u can always get a bigger hard drive all u need is a sata 2.5in hard drive so far u can get up to a 250gig hard drive talk about space but yeah u should get a ps3 theres just more that u can do with it and u get more out of it...

Well, I don't know about FF this year, but certainly next year, plus all the games that will not go to PC (assuming you even have a high end PC), plus the blu-ray player (which is a great player btw). Most especially if the HDTV you mentioned is 1080p, but even if it isn't.

Things will go off topic quickly if you start taking jabs at Canada, lots of Canadians at GS... including me. There are good games right now, plus great games on the way, plus the bluray, plus reliable hardware.

Lol, I have both and I have to say its probably one of the best decisions Ive ever made. If gaming is a huge part of your life at the moment, like it is mine, then I say definatly say get one! I dont have to worry about exclusives (Nothing interests me now or probably ever in the Wii) and you have more variety of games.

But yea, definatly do it. You might not get much use out of your PS3 till Q2 or Q3 of this year, but then and after it will definatly be worth it!

The 360 is a good console however it's reached it's peak long ago, the games won't get any more impressive or technical than what they are now. The PS3 has huuuge potential for the future, I've read articles says none of the games have even tapped into 30% of the PS3's power, not even ones like Assassin's Creed or Resistance or Ninja Gaiden Sigma. So that says alot. The PS3 is a much better long term investment. HOWEVER, my father works for Microsoft and he told me that Microsoft is in the works with a newer XBOX. He said it might not be like a full flesh new XBOX, like XBOX 720 or anything lol but he said it's definately going to be some upgraded version (not like the black elite one) with a faster GPU and processor etc, to catch up to the PS3. (if it can) So who knows..

Definitely, if you have the money (in this case I would guess so :)), go for it. If you have open mind and enjoy gaming, all three consoles are very fun, especially Wii with bunch of friends.

I had a 360 and at one point i could almost consider myself a 360 fanboy, but then i decided to get a PS3 and am very glad i did get it. i definitely recommend getting a PS3. and if you don't have the money, i would sell your 360. yeah, really, i like my PS3 that much better.
