Ratchet and Clank or Uncharted

I am getting my first PS3 game (other than MGS4 which I got in the MGS4 bundle) in a few days. I have narrowed it down to Ratchet or Uncharted, I am leaning towards Ratchet. Can someone help me with this decision, also you could recommend another game.

Personally, I haven't played Rachet and Clank, but Uncharted is the best third person shooter game I have. You have dodging, cover, melee, shooting, and a whole collection of weapons. Any gun you see you can take. It adds a touch of fantasy in as well near the end.

You won't regret this if you buy it. Trust me, this is a great game.

Some other choices are:

Assassin's Creed

Battlefield Bad Company

Viking Battle for Asgard

Be aware that Viking Battle for Asgard is gory and the bloodiest hack and slash game out there. But it's lots of fun.

Both are great choices, but I'd give Uncharted a SLIGHT edge. You should really get both eventually though. The_Pig_Hostage

Get Uncharted. It's the best PS3 experience out there. It won't disappoint you, I can assure you that. For some other games COD4 is fun for online and possibly GTA IV.

Uncharted! cause I plan to get it myself.. lol.. but look for deals on it.. maybe get it off ebay or somethin..

well its hard to chose one....so i say get both coz both are great

I think ratchet is better, its a more solid game with better replay value imo

ratchet and clank, i felt stupid renting a kids game, and then quickly relized discrimating a game based on something like that would have had me missing out on a great game.

personally uncharted is a great "rent" but a horrible buy. you can beat it in a 5 day renting period...so this is a very simple choice.

after beating ratchet and clank i realizeing the replay value i prob should have bought it instead of renting.

did you ever play the PS2 rachets? if you liked them you will like rachet

uncharted is really good

i would pick rachet cuz im a huge fan of the humor and challange mode give good replay value

Uncharted. I personally think Ratchet is a little too childish for me, but hey that's just my opinion. Uncharted is great.SamuRai_JeDi

I would say get both, they both give you great single player experiences. Ratchet has a longer story than Uncharted. Also, Other games I recommend later on is Ninja Gaiden Sigma, COD4, Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Devil May Cry 4, GTA4, Rockband, Resistance and there are other great games coming out this fall.
