The PS3 has a much better reputation, but who knows? You may be the one to get that PS3 that fell off the truck, rolled down a cliff, landed in a river, washed out to sea, and ended up on some beach in Sri Lanka.

Supposing that the PS3 doesn't end up in Sri Lanka (unless you live in Sri Lanka and want it there), then YES, PS3s are more reliable, albeit slightly more expensive than Xbox 360s

Ive heard its pretty low. I hope so, because my PS3 that I bought in February died a few weeks ago from disc drive failure. Hopefully my next one lasts.

I don't know anyone with a broken PS3, even used ones. I did however go through 3 360's, two couldn't read the disks, and one overheated. And is the 360 really cheaper? I don't have the numbers in front of me but the cheap 360 doesnt come with a harddrive and doesn't come with a wireless router and theres no blueray. Hard drives are about 100, and the wireless is about 100. I don't know I'm just saying...

Well, PS3s are far more reliable then the 360 and thats been prooven time over. Sure, PS3s can fail on occassion as any electronic device can, but its not worth worrying about like it is with the 360.
