PS3 price cut

There was an announcement that sony would be making a price cut. Does anyone have any idea when this will be and how much of a cut?

Or do we need to wait until e3 to find out?

Im Sorry, no im not referring to you, I am referring to the HATER Posts, and the Price cut posts, by about 90 % who Hate due to the fact they cant afford the machine.......

can someone tell me if you will need an Internet connection to play ps3 online or is it built it to it so you only have to plug it in your TV.jak305

I heard that it was droping at the end of year in line with how the PS2 was handled, which I don't remember if its price dropped in a year or not, nor how much. But if more people can afford it at least the "WTF?!?! $600!?!?" threads can stop.
