The ps3 supports 802.11g while the ipod and laptop (most likely) support n. b/g/n are wireless standards with N being the fastest and most current standard. I would recommend http://www.amazon.com/******-Wireless-Router-Latest-Generation/dp/B004N6259G/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1315258761&sr=8-10 if you only need decent range. (n routers are backwards compatible with b/g machines like the ps3)
[QUOTE="PoisoN_Facecam0"]save your money.. buy a long ethernet cable, you can get 100ft for about $25 bucks.. Wired connection is much better anyway.. if you'd rather go wireless go with almost any new N-type router.xiDodgerfan_7Are you serious about the ethernet cable? They actually make them that long?
Yes (you can get one off of amazon for less than 10 bucks for 50 ft). However you need a router if you want to connect your ipod.
