ps1 or ps2 games that MUST be redone for ps3!

Hey list what games you think would look amazing on the ps3 and would really make a game that much better

I was playing Shadow of the Collosus for the first time and after the first boss I instantly thought wow how cool and then I thought imagine if this masterpeice was re made for the ps3, can you imagine how amazing it would look!

Yeah, but no. Remakes de-value the orginals, my final fantasy 7 use to be 100 bucks easy now its 50-60 due to it being on PSN. Marvel vs capcom hasd also de-valued from 120 to 60.Fightingfan

Unfortunately, I think this is a trend we will start seeing as digital distribution becomes much more popular. It allows those who didn't get a chance to play a classic gem from the PS1 or PS2 library of games but it really sucks for those who has collected these games over the years to have it depreciate in monetary value. I still prefer the physical copy of the game rather than the DD version but once in awhile I will get a game through the PSN if it is at a right price.

I do the same thing with Steam for my PC. I buy the physical copy at the store & then install the game on my PC through Steam. I know that's the backasswards way of using Steam but in case Steam ever fails, I have a physical copy to play off from anytime I want.

Never played them. What are they most like? Ratchet and Clank, Mario, Banjo Kazooie? They sound fun.

I would love to see the Kingdom Hearts series remade into a Ps3 game. Others that come to mind are Final Fantasy X, X-2, and XII. I would play through each and everyone of those games again if they came to Ps3.

While the idea of full remakes is always fun to talk about, does anyone else think they should focus their time on making new games? I mean, I have very good memories of the older classics, but I often wonder if they would be able to really capture what was great about them or possibly mess them up (like shotty voice work).

I would like to see a MGS1 remake with MGS4 graphics and controls, because MGS1 is the only MGS I haven't played, because I can't stand the graphics and the controls.

ANYWAYS....i wouldn't mind seeing DMC1 redone....and i would also like them to gut DMC2 out completely and totally redo EVERYTHING including the script and what have you....so that what we can truly forget that DMC2 ever happened

I would say the first one was banjo-kazooie-ish. 2 and 3 were comepletely different, closer to ratchett and clank i guess. defineitly worth playing though, you should defineitly try them out.

Well, doesn't have to be "redone". But I want a Bushido Blade 3 with elements of what made the first so great. One on one, realistic Samurai combat. Details and all (instead of a body part going limp when hit due to PS1's power then). No "special powers", no gimmicks (like the first one) and with the honor system in place.

If there was a PSN release of the first game, I would be all over that.
