They've always been pretty poor, sub-HD resolutions to keep the framerate up. The last few PS3 versions have had the bigger hit, running at 540p or something equally ridiculous, barely higher than SD resolutions.
So this texture installation HD pack doesn't really do anything graphics wise, just puts lets stress on the blu ray drive? Lame.... the game needs it. BAD! the skull and cross bones after someone dies looks like it belongs on the n64...
the first black ops had crappy graphics too. youd think they atleast improve a little. been getting all of the COD games till now but probably not getting black ops 2.
I think the graphics are pretty good, but then again I started playing video games on a Commodore. I don't think I'll ever understand the graphics whore mentality kids have these days.
Wait, wait, wait...you guys really think this game looks bad? I think you guys are either blind, or are PC-only gamers. This game looks better than almost all the games that released this year on consoles. MW3 is a bad looking game. Black Ops 1 was also horrible in terms of graphics for the PS3. But Black Ops II is a step forward for Treyarch with the PS3's hardware.
i used to play COD's on the xbox , but i dident realize that the PS3 was getting such bad portsrain1128
But Black Ops II isn't a bad port...the Xbox doesn't have a graphical leap over the PS3 this time around. The game runs just as smooth as the Xbox version also.
