Please!!! I need help with ninja gaiden sigma!!!

Ok this is my sad story: Im playing right now ninja gaiden, an awesome game, playing in normal mode, a very tough game... I arrived to that battle with the vigoor emperor with a good number of potions and refills for the ninpos, so in its second form I Thought!!! this one was really the very last boss of the game so I spend all of my potions and everything I got to defeat him, EVERYTHING, and Ohh my surprise, there is a chapter 19 and there are no Muramasas to buy things, only a save statue, I saved my game thinking that only I had to escape from that volcano and that was it, but Ohh my surprise there is one final boss!!! pleaaaaseeee, I cant beat that Dark Murai, I dont have one single potion of anything, I have only my five ninpos and my fully upgraded weapons, and thats it, I have read strategies and there are no cheats for potions... if only I had one, one single elixir to refill my life bar, i dont have resurrections......

Can anyone help me with a way to defeat this boss?, any cheats?, did anyone kill him without using any potions?any tactics?

i beat him without any potions on normal. I also did the same not knowing that id have to fight another guy so yeah. Unfortunately i dont remember how i beat him so check a guide on youtube or something for that. I died alot of times before i got his hp to half and then this one time i just totally beat him keeping almost all my health so just keep trying.

hmm im bored here playing demos(just finished mirrors edge which i liked) and havent had a new ps3 game since fifa 09,nba live 09 and nfs undercover since novemer my last story mode ps3 game was in august so you can tell how i am now maybe i should finally go and play it on hard right now hmm?

i did the exact same thing very frustrating. there is no way around it though i kept trying and trying and eventually i got lucky and kicked his ass pretty fast. also after every few retrys that girl gives u items like cakes and stuff to give u health

Haha. I'm on Chapter 10 right now...

I guess I have my work cut out for me. Only thing I don't like is having to go through Tairon like 5 times and then having to play as Rachel (spoiler alert: she sucks!).

jejeje, Yes she really sucks!!!, and Hurraayy Im very happy, las night I beat that Dark Murai, I spend like 4 hours trying and trying and trying until finally he fell down, Oh yes that was one hell of a fight: no potions, no nothing.... I have to said Ninja gaidenis the most difficult game I have played on the ps3 so far, but one of the best, one suggestion when you arrive to chapter 18 save elixirsafter the battle with the vigoor emperor, you will need them, when that Dark murai summons that dragon I couldnt evade the attack and it takes a lot of damage, I use my ninpos, while charging the ninpo you will take no damage from this attack, also when Dark Muari torpedoes at you evade to one side just tapping the evade button, quickly blast him with a three hit combo and defend yourself for the hit he delivers, then quickly evade, this strategy serve me well at the end and I finally beat him after a LOT of tries.

Thanks to everyone that post here... The best advice is keep trying and keep trying.

Now resistance 2 awaits me!!!
