I never considered using the move to play motion games with others. I generally play single player games and I hope the single player games can incorporate the move to provide new experiences. LBP looks awesome with motion controls, it'll be fun when one person runs through the level and someone else will use the move to either help or totally annoy the other person
most don't have eyetoys, the 100 bundle, and that doesn't include the navigation controller, using the ds3 to replace is just crazy. Im sure at least two people are playing, now do the math. The Playstation Move controller is $49.99. + The Navigation controller $29.99 if you want it.
The DualShock 3 Controller is $54.99 from BestBuy. Or maybe $44.99 from Amazon.
- shrug - No big deal.

well I dont get why every body is complaining about the price, yeah its over priced but were you guys seriously going to buy the MOVE??? I feel sorry for who ever buys the MOVE, its not worth itRTUUMMActually i was a bit skeptical of both MOVE and Kinect but after seeing them at E3 I was impressed. I think also, since PS3 isn't limited to motion sensing, the MOVE will be a lot better incorporated into PS3 games as opposed to the Wii and its motion sensing. I think they both have potential, I just want to see what type of games are being released for them before I jump in head first.
I love the way the crowd cheered at E3 when the price of the Light bulb thing was announced, and then kind of grunted when the other remote thingy's price was announced. I suppose they thought the first price applied to both...I know I did :(
I will not be buying

Anyway I noticed at E3 they didn't show any of those games that they were using two Move controllers for at E3 2009. I wonder if they scrapped those or are waiting to see if people pick up multiple Move controllers. Because a 2 player game with those would require 4 and that is expensive for a peripheral.

I feel sorry for who ever buys the MOVE, its not worth itRTUUMMwell I think it is a good deal personally. I already have 3 DS3s and a PSeye. So I really only need to by the Move and if I wanna be fancy buy the nav controller so not really a waste of money when you got it. Same was said about DVD players, HDTVs, and all new tech
The pricing is fine. If you don't like it don't buy it. Personally I need to see a lot more before I decide either way, in terms of titles, accuracy, etc. but I'm leaning to the "No" side of things...
Its $150.The problem is there is no official price for the Kinect just yet, it's just estimates.
gago-gago
Not really... Kinect is overpriced because it's the Eye Toy for $200; Move isn't really. It's a controller and it's priced like a controller. The Dualshock 3 is $50, do you complain about that too?to play properly with more then one person, earily near 200 doollars.

yeah but, on ign they say to play some games you need 2 move controllers some need 1 move controller plus the sub controller and some you need just one controller and that just for one playerThe Playstation Move controller is $49.99. + The Navigation controller $29.99 if you want it.

yeah but, on ign they say to play some games you need 2 move controllers some need 1 move controller plus the sub controller and some you need just one controller and that just for one player I think the only game that requires two so far is The FightThe Wii isn't limited to motion control either, everything the Move does, the Wiimote does, but the Wiimote itself can also be used as a controller i.e. Metroid: Other M. Anyway I noticed at E3 they didn't show any of those games that they were using two Move controllers for at E3 2009. SepewrathOh ok I didn't know but anyway there's other limitations in the Wii itself (not that its a bad console, I own one and its a lot of fun) that might turn people away such as graphics, such as the capability to play games like Metal Gear or any big title that didn't go to the Wii because of limitations...i think the PS3 having motion sensing is a little more appealing to me personally, because while the Wii has a lot of fun games I would love to play MGS using motion sensing (for example) and hopefully MGS Rising supports MOVE. I dunno, I'm just looking forward to the MOVE but again I'll say, I wont buy it 'til it "proves itself".

The Dualshock 3 is $50, do you complain about that too? no, again think about it, do the math man. Move controller 50, navigation 30, eyetoy 40, game 40-60 for one person is = nearish 180, depends on game. or buy the bundle for 100, no navigation controller, if you want it + 30 = 130 for one person. most are going to be playing with others, at least one other person. 50 move controller + move 30 = 80, two people = 180. that archer game uses two move controllers, the sword fighting one, shield is other. they are both over priced, kinect includes no games as of right now and MS store has it for 150 also http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/21/kinect-for-xbox-360-now-on-sale-for-150-at-microsofts-own-o/ straight from the horses mouth.to play properly with more then one person, earily near 200 doollars.

Sony's pricing has been insane since this gen started. Kojo222
What? How do you figure that?
Let me break this down,
Your saying the whole Blue Ray capable console with blue tooth, wifi, HDMI from the get go, non propriatary hard drive and free online was over priced? Compared to the rival HD console which didn't have HDMI, Add on HD - DVD, Insane price for Hard Drive which is not included with all models, no wifi, no bluetooth, fee based online play and an above average fail rate?
On to Controllers,
Your saying a controller with a rechargable battery, motion control and non propriatary charge cable compared to the non motion, no rechargable battery ( sold seperately) and charge cable ( sold seperately or with battery) is over priced?
Think about what your saying before you say it. Kinda like how people swear games are over priced yet have been the same price for over 20 years ( ya I paid $60 for Zelda back in the day) and I can't think of a single thing which is still being sold 20 years later at the same price.
Sony's pricing has been insane since this gen started. Kojo222agreed but from my experience it has been well worth it

i think what hes referring to is, the price has had a habit of scaring customers away, regardless of how awesome it is most people didn't shell out for the $600-$700 model a few years ago.doesnt the wii controller cost more so why is everyone complaining?
i havent bought wii controllers for a couple of years but from what i remember
29.99 nunchuck+49.99 wiimote + 29.99 motion plus = 109.97 per person
doesnt the wii controller cost more so why is everyone complaining?

Correction:
49.99 Wiimote with Motionplus + 19.99 Nunchuck = 69.98
49.99 Move controller + 29.99 Navigation controller + 39.99 PS eye = 119.97

49.99 Move controller + 29.99 Navigation controller + 39.99 PS eye = 119.97
to have 2 players:
Base bundle = 99.99
Nav controller = 29.99
2nd Move = 49.99
2nd Nav = 29.99
total price for 2 players = $209.96
no thanks!
At least it's a controller....and not.... Kinect. I doubt you'll even need the nunchuck for any casual games you'll want to play..because let's face it, you're not going to play any hardcore games with your mom. So you're looking at 50 bucks tops to add players.....and really, you're probably a hardcore gamer anyways so one controller is plenty good.JKnaperek
Exactly, and I already have the PSeye so $80 and I'm on my way.
