Doubt it, Resistance holds up to 40 people without lag. (Unless you get the occasional person with a crappy internet connection, he will lag)

I've heard by many and I've seen by other 360 owners that the online is actually not the greatest. There is lag, I've never seen lag in Resistance...or any game for that matter unless 1 person has a 56K connection or something lol.

psn sucks dude! i played games on my brother's ps3 online and there's always lag. i'm not a fan boy or anything i'm buying a ps3 next month. and we both have good connection all the time with xbox live.Execution360

You're right, XBL does have a better shape than PSN right now.

But PSN has no connection issue for over 90% users out there. And XBL sux big time in connection speed, period.

As much as I love GTA I don't really care that were getting online. I mean I bought the GTA's for their single player experience.

I mean GTA doesn't depend on online unlike other games*coughs*Halo*cough*.:D

The PSN is fine. As far as I'm concerned, PSN lag is far better than that of Xbox's. People in Xbox Live sometime appear hear, dissapear there, appear over there, dissapear again - and the "God host" is extremely annoying. PSN is just fine, maybe your wireless connection just sucks.

you guys are idiots. Live! is great. And dont fanboy others when yer a bias PS nerd anyway.

PS3 online is much, much better than the PS2 network so far from what ive seen. I own both systems and so far both online systems are very good and will thrive in the future.

Yes rfom has very little lag if any at all on 32-40 players because it has dedicated servers, it doesnt have dedicated servers for small 8 vs 8 matches then it gets laggy.

Warhawk also has a few dedicated servers for ranked games but other than that every other game uses p2p just like xbl, and no matter what lag is inevitable because people with very slow broadband connection thinks they can play and host online games.

All it takes is some slow connections to have lag in any game without dedicated servers, but the main problem is people leave applications running that use up download speed like windows messenger,internet explorer,downloads etc etc etc etc, people should turn off or unplug the router from there pc if possible to keep the speeds high, my ps3,pc,360 are all plugged into the same router when i play online i remove the pc ethernet cable.

But theres no such thing as a lag free expierence when playing online even with fast connections from every user, try playing a game through lan then you will notice the difference.

Lag is a part of multi-player gaming on every gaming machine we have to live with it untill we get much faster broadband speeds worldwide.

i've experience more lag in halo 3 online in the past week than I have via a wireless connection on Resistance

XBl has just as much lag as psn, its not really xbl/psn fault its either a development problem/connection/host problem or somebody with a 50kb broadband line is trying to host games, just because your connection is a broadband line does not meen its fast enough to host or even enjoy multi-player gaming.

I remember playing gears all night one day last year and we had terrible lag problems so we started asking who has the fastest connection to be the host and the guy that was hosting it said it cannot be me i have 50kb broadband line and everybody else had 800kb-1000kb connections, these type of people are the problem with online gaming.
