What do you guys suggest? I can only get one of these games and it'll have to last me a good month before I can get another one. Ni no kuni seems like the obvious choice and I do love JRPGs but DMC seems like a lot of fun with all the hectic action.

How does Ni No Kuni rank among JRPG fans?

Anyways, any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks

I haven't played DmC so I can't really comment on it.

But I've got about 100 hours into Ni no Kuni. Which would make it a good candidate for a game that will last you a month. Also note the rave reviews. I really think it is one of the very best games of this gen. Don't miss it.

Personally, level 5 have made the best RPGs on ps2/3. Sure many agree on that, so Ni Ni Kuni would be high demand for jrpg fans.

I am leaning towards Ni No Kuni because it does seem like it will last me a lot longer. Is a strategy guide worth the extra money or would it be better to just play it without one?

I would get Ni No Kuni as looking at the past, you see rpgs go up in value action games go down. dmc I see being $20 sooner than Ni No Kuni. beware of exceptions though.

That is a good point. I can see DMC going down in price soon.

Beat DMC and now playing Ni Nu Kuni. While I liked DMC and like the new direction there a few reasons to get Ni Nu Kuni now.

1. Its a JRPG, we need to support these games so we can get more

2. Because it's a jrpg, its gonna be rare a few months from now, and if you wait, prepare to pay more for a used copy off ebay. DMC will probobly be 30 bucks 6 months from now.

So I would get Ni Nu Kuni first, but overall I would also say its the better game. It will make you think back to the time where jrpgs were great and it will feel good to have one that isn't a low poly jagfest.

Ni no Kuni, especially since you're JRPG fan. One of the best games this generation. ;)

Ni no kuni if this has to last you a month. This game will take you a long time to finish. DMC will probably take you a week or two.
