New Kingdom Hearts for the PS3?

Am I the only person that remembers the days when I turned on my PS2 with excitement to team up with Donald and Goofy and fight the heartless and multiple other foes? Am I the only person that loved seeing all of the different Disney created worlds in one game where I could visit them all? Am I the only one that loved the story line of the Kingdom Hearts series where Sora fights through practically everything in his way, even though it looks bleak and impossible at times, and all to save his friends? I know I'm not, and I know there are people out there that also love these amazing games! So why haven't any come for the PS3 instead of the PSP and DS!?Armagadem

I am completely ready for a KH3 on PS3. I've been waiting for a long time and hope it happens sooner than later. I haven't even played the handheld titles. They just don't appeal to me nearly as much.

there was a DS game last year, a DS one coming, and a 3DS one coming. I think SE has moved to other platforms with the series

I would love a Kingdom Hearts for the ps. It seems inevitable reallly, so i believe it will happen. Will be awesome to see where they can take that franchise with the power of the ps3. But you can't fault the company for putting effort into the Final Fantasy franchise, those are the titles that made SE what they are today. jnjreams76

Kingdom Hearts is the reason i got a PS3! I had never owned a PS2 and I always wanted KH and KH2 so I got a backward compatible PS3. KH3 might be a good 3+ years away because they said they wouldnt make it until FF versus 13 came out. But it should be worth the wait.

The previous poster reminded me that FFv13 is coming! And gameplay will be similar to KH, 3 cheers and 4 hooraes!! :D

However, I'll still miss Donald Duck and Goofy and all the other Disney characters... I just hope FFv13 captures the gameplay of KH perfectly, which was one of the best hack n slash games I've ever played.

I wouldn't underestermate KH: Birth by Sleep, it looks like it's shaping up to be a quality KH game but yes I would like a KH3 on the PS3.

Right now they are busy polishing the graphics for Final Fantasy Versus XIII and they have been letting other teams make the handheld games. Three more Kingdom Hearts games are supposed to be released and one of them is Kingdom Hearts 3D (which is not a remake). I really want Kingdom Hearts 3 but they are working on FFvsXIII which is the reason I bought a PS3.

The other games are essentially setting up what is to come. Besides, until last month, I didn't have a PSP either. Because Kingdom Hearts is coming to the PSP, I saved a paycheck and went and got one. Plus, who says they're not developing KH3? Just because nothing's been announced publicallydoes not mean they aren't working on ideas and development.

Get Birth by Sleep,Its the Prequel to #1. And if im correct Nomura said that to understand KH3 you should play Birth by Sleep. You are not the only one who wants KH3.My room is full of Kingdom Hearts posters.Lets hope after versus,KH3 is next with FF13 Graphics :D

Ugh, I hate that mock-up of KH3 boxart... it's mislead so many people it's not even funny, especially since the teaser video(s) from Kingdom Hearts II were for Birth By Sleep. I'm glad to see that someone else knows that it's Final Fantasy vs. XIII that's holding up KH3... plus, people really need to give the so-called side games a chance. I actually enjoyed Chain of Memories (and its PS2 remake) and 358/2 Days a lot more than KH2 (the lack of Final Mix releases outside of Japan is just wrong). Still, realize that Birth By Sleep is just as much the 3rd "main" game in the series as Metal Gear Solid 3 was. They just decided to give it a subtitle instead of a number.MAILER_DAEMON

Kingdom Hearts 3 is still just a thought and there will be Kingdom Hearts games released in between. But I'm worried that when people play KH3 and see the recap opening scene they will be like WTF? There were three games released after KHII and two more games in development and all of them aren't remakes. Are people going to know who Xion, Ventus, Aqua, or Terra are if they never played the handheld games?
