Most Overrated PS3 Games?

littlebigplanet and heavy rain are two that stick out for me

more recently, even at ~85% I'd say GT5 is overrated atm

wow so many ppl think god of war is over rated? how is god of war over rated?

it scored 9.0 which is a very fair score, based on sound. gameplay, graphics etc etc,

a game that is overated is something that scores 10 in graphics but has the graphics of a gameboy color game, this thread isnt stating over rated games

everyone here is just saying games they did not like or enjoy.

even gta the gameplay is over rated, but again the graphics are beautiful so detailed etc, therefor the whole game cannot be over rated

jsut certain aspects of it, like i said its just people saying games they dont like basically.

I would usually say RDR but i bought Undead Nightmare today and boy it is INCREDIBLE.

Heavy Rain, a game with terrible writing and characters shouldn't be getting praise for its writing and characters. It also doesn't help that people actually believe that your choices have a huge impact on the story in a game where you are only given an illusion of choice for most of it.

To join the topic. I think FF13 is pretty bad, even the average reviews that it received were pretty generous.

inFamous - Boring repetitive missions.

Demon's Souls - I played It for a while and I haven't played It since .

Assassins Creed - Eavesdrop, Pickpocket, Find the Viewpoints , Assassinate. That pretty much sums this game up.

Fifa 11 - Critics made It look like the game was perfect It really wasn't. Terrible A.I, Constant Micro Freezing, Boring Career Mode the list could go on.

Red Dead Redemption - Great story but that's about It

Yeah I think I need to play It through properly rather than just giving up after dying a few times.

Lol I actually liked FF13, I think most games are overrated as I dislike the genres that are most noticable. I like Uncharted, Heavy Rain, Ratchet and Clank, PSN Games, Demon Souls, LBP, I hate most of the games on my trophy list and would rather go back to Level 1 then have all these games staining my trophy list haha.

God of War 3 was the best of the 3 I thought, that said I would rate the entire series a 6/10 and that's being generous

Killzone 2 and Bioshock also very overatted. I got bored of Bioshock really quickly.

Anyone that lists GOD of War 3 should kill themselves, seriously.

Metal Gear Solid 4 and God of War III.

Both are good games. You can tell talent went into the projects and that time was spent, but at the same time they just aren't phenomenal games like everyone says. I remember playing MGS4 for the first time and I kept asking myself what I was playing.. the gameplay just seemed clunky. And the graphics in GoW3 are overrated.

Metal Gear Solid 4: I love the series, but this one let me down. I didn't like it one bit. The story was awfu: bad writing, bad plot-twists, weak character development, poor pacing, etc. Also, the Drebin Points ruined the gameplay, since it lets you buy ammo. No longer must you play it smart and conserve ammo. Ran out of ammo during a boss fight? No problems. Just press start and buy some.

God of War 3: The story is flat-out horrible, and Kratos is an unlikable character. Gameplay is more of the same/button smasher. It's the weakest in the series.

Red Dead Redemption: I found it completely boring. Nothing exciting to do or places to explore.

Heavy Rain: So many plot-holes and illogical nonsense.
