Most Overrated PS3 Games

I think the most overrated game is littlebigplanet, i bought it, think it would be awesome, but was very dissapointed in the very short single player mode, and hard editor.The player created levels are fun, but the game is way overrated.

I don't think Infamous was rated too high but I do feel it got repetive way too fast with boring envionments and limited powers. I though agree that LBP just doesn't live up to the hype. I mean it is great to play in very short stints but not something I could spend too much time on. Not everyone wants or has time to build levels. I also found the platforming to be very boring but the patinator( I think that is what it is called) makes it a tad bit better. Though going from th hype you would think this is the best game ever which it surely wasn't.

Bioshock is overrated as for now but I am giving it one more chance.

Uncharted... People call it great, and I just don't see it. I bought the game again and tried to enjoy it, but I just couldn't. I really don't see what makes it so great.

I just know MAG's gonna be overrated, so I pick that.

All the damn Call of Duty games. It's pretty much the same thing, crappy story/single player and great online.

I agree with you on LBP, I am playing it right now and I just don't have that much fun playing it.

MGS4 is very overrated, it's a great game, but isn't 10/10 worthy.

Well I think it is just personal preference as some people like games with great plot and decent game play. I mean I can see where people thought the shooting mechanisms were somewhat sub par but I thought the platforming was great. I really don't see the replay in it though as once the story is over I didn't feel like playing it again. You just want to play it more and more to find out what happens and the game play is decent enough to not distract from the story. Uncharted is still my favorite game even though it has low replay value but that will soon fall once Uncharted 2 comes out with improved gameplay. I just hope the story stays interesting.

I said this earlier in the thread about Little Big Planet. I prefer R&C TOD when it comes to platformers.

Well UNCHARTED 2 will not be overhyped it is just perfect and it will get 9.5-10 IMO

Uncharted (seriously, what's this game's appeal?)

Bioshock (it's cool for the first few hours, then it just turns completely average)
