MGS4 or SC4?

I was trying to decide wether to get MGS4 or SC4; i know that SC4 hasn't come out yet, but from the preveiws and stuff what do you think?

I like fighting games and shooters the same, but because SC4 is coming out about 1 1/2 months later then MGS4 and looking at the graphics and extras-Maybe SC4 would have better replay value or just a better game all-n-all.

Im posting a thread on this because im really impatient on everything, and i just returned from a really long vacation so... now i have to go shoping for games.. anyway... should i buy MGS4 or wait a whole week for SC4?

P.S. if anyone knows - are the movements (during fighting and stuff) like Tekken or more like DBZ style?

Get Metal Gear Solid 4, it is a great game. Everything about it is great. I have it, beat it and I have pre-ordered Soul Calibur IV. I am a fan of both series.

Soul Caliber will be the better game for me!

depends really, if u want a great game with a good story, gameplay, graphics, online n replay value then go for mgs4

if ur more a of a fighting game guy then go for SC4 but still rent mgs4

I've decided on getting MGS4.... actually my friends calling me to get into the car to buy the game. The thing thats actually pulling my attention away from SC4 is the fact that a lot of people say its gonna be like Tekken (the fighting, and movements are to slow for me-im into the faster DBZ fighters).

And ive replayed MGS2... seems like ive forgotten that i like how MG plays like.

haha i spose it depends on what you want really, its not fair comparing the 2 with the amount of mgs fanboys around but i think soul caliber 2 is more FUN than mgs as long as your playing with friends that is. MGS4 is amazing in many ways but its not that great IMO.

personally i think SC is fun for a short time... i have 2 and 3 but beat few times, while I beat Tekken with all chars... imo, SC is not even the best in its own genre, though both games' company is Namco, Tekken is better.

Two completely different games, If you like Metal gear games get MGS4 and if you like fighting games get SC4, simple huh?

Snake and Otacon make sense in MGS because they're main characters of the series. Star Wars characters in a fighting game like SC is plain stupid. I can't wait to hear the BS explanation of why lightsabers don't cut through weapons.

Wow, it truly is disgusting how many MGS4 worshippers are spewing their non-sensical opinion. If you think he should get MGS4 over SC, actually come up with a valid reason. As for me, I am selling my MGS4 for SC4, and im not looking back. MGS4 was really good the first play through, but thats it. I cant even believe some of the comments from you people. No other game compares!? That is strictly your opinion, a stupid one at that. The two r awsome games. U can see that from their prequels but, wat If i were u, i'd really go for the online features n MGS4 is definitely better in that.

I own mgs4 and its definetly a must have.

I think soul Calibur 4 will be awesome but MGS is the dominant series here, in graphics(awesome), story(very profound),

not mentioning longevity(like 10 hours) ,and, because its the last one of the series, it unravels all of the mysterys of the past sequels.
