No, James Caviezel is ok but David Hayter fits the bill perfectly. Just go on youtube and search for David Hayter.

I think Butler would be perfect. I'd say his body type is dead on compareed to snake. I wouldn't consider him too big.

Well, considering he looks alot like Snake, and is a Screen Writer, I'm sure he could do a good job as Snake (with a little practice) :).

Just becasue he looks like Snake, and writes screenplays - it still does not mean he can act.

You would have to prepare for nervous speech and robotic movement. It just wouldn't work. Plus it is a lot better if the actor can do their own stunts (Steve McQueen ftw lol)

Most of these suggestions tell me one thing that I've always thought about a MGS movie: It should either be high quality CG, or shouldn't happen. A live action movie will suck, 100% guaranteed, I don't care how good the script is or who is directing it or who is cast. This has never been proven wrong for a game > movie, and until it is, I will keep stating it as fact. ;)MyzeDivine

To me, the story of MGS is perfect for a theatrical release. I'm actually surprised that it took this long for a MGS movie to be in post-production.

Yeah cept for snake and fox i agree with the cast, sean bean as liquid would be epic he's such a good bad guy.

I think david could fit the role because he has the voice and looks like snake. And fox should be like wesley snipes, statham, or jet li because of all the martial arts and angility required.
