So long as you know what you're in for(assuming you've "youtubed" footage) I say definitely get it as the art style keeps the game from looking dated while the gameplay is timeless.
it still plays as well as it always has. it's really a big update to the fire emblem/disgaea type srpg while those types of games still remain very similar.
Definitely!! One of the best Strategy Role Playing Games you will play. There is a lot of depth and the story is great. The art work is similar to Ni No Kuni. It's like watch an anime when playing, but the menus look like a story book. If you like JRPG this game will not disappoint at all.
game was pretty bad. i have never understood the hype around it. it is neither strategic, nor fun. you could basically just level a scout and rush the objective zone on every mission.
It's easily one of the best games of this generation for me (if not the best). It even managed to convince me to buy a PSP to play the sequels (PPSSPP wasn't a thing back then).
The art style stops the game from looking dated, the music/sound is great (and so are the fully voiced and animated cutscenes) and there's a mountain of content in the game, there's a few DLC mission packs available for it aswell
