Your saying your PS3 got pwned by the lightening? Well....that'll teach you to play during storms. Sorry

I always ALWAYS unplug my stuff when the weather is getting nasty.

Yep I do now. I accidently left the family computer plugged up during a bad storm and it got fried. It sounded like a popping/clicking noise. Thank god I didnt get caught for that. I would have died if my parents found out.

So i unplug my PS3 and Wii just incase.

That sucks.. I know how you feel I live in Louisiana and we are always geeting bad storms. I would try unplging the system leave it alone. Turn it back on try the system settings and see if it recognizes any Wifi. It probably wont. You may need to call sony or try buying something like this
