The reason I posted this thread is because I've already used 12GB on my PS3. That means I spent a few GB's on a system update and 3GB on Home. I currently have the 80GB PS3. However, the PS3 OS takes up 6GB. So I started with 74GB. How many GB's do you have left on your PS3?
Yeah, I think I have just over that. I have downloaded home and installed a few games, so I probably have more than that, but not much. Although, that is still plenty of memory :)
But really, I found out anyone could easily use up the 80GB hard drive. I already used up 12GB! All what I needed was a few more games and a few downloads and I used up all my hard drive.
And that's with all the game installations from the 27 that need them, all my game saves including about 7 game saves from PS2 titles, Home and the insesant downloading of patches and updates for everything
From an 80 gig model I only have 22gb left, I think the majority of my hd space was taken up by demos, the space goes fast when you start getting demos that are about a gig each :| I'm thinking about upgrading to perhaps a 160 or 320gb if I can find one by the start of summer.

I got this one. It comes with an external enclosure for turning your current Hardrive into an external drive for 2 dollars more.
o hell. I only have 13 left, and I deleted everything (music, photos) and demos and such. its all game data. I have an original 60 GB. i want to upgrade, but if i do, will i b able to keep everything that i currently have on my hdd and move it over. along with trophies and such.
lol, before mine was scammed outta me to Nigeria, i had 1443mb (1.4gb), mainly it was game installs and saves, and u-all know how much a custome madden team takes up (plus a season). Only a couple eps, and it was taken before HOME came out, though my goal was to have just enough megs, to be shy of the amount needed for a system update, lol.
About 30gb of a 60gb drive, with about 10 albums, 2 demos, 10 games, and whatever Home's taking up.... cant see a need to upgrade the drive just yet :)
