It last only 24hrs from the very moment you start playing the movie, even if it's still downloading. I'm really like the movie rental thing they got a ton of movies saves me a trip to Hollywood or Blockbuster. However, HD rentals can't be watched while downloading it'll buffer. SD movies looked like DVD quality though it's plenty fine for HDTV.
its kinda a rip off to rent and you may get cheated if you check the movie while uploading.
Might as well go for a few more bucks for the buy, but hard drive space is limited. There are better and cheaper ways to watch movies on the ps3 though
