No you didn't read the topic wrong and yes I do feel ashamed asking. See my aunt asked me a little wile ago to tell her how to save on her PSP. Thinking nothing of it I just turned on the game and tried to find a save option or something. To my suprise I can't find one either. I haven't had a PSP since about six months after launch and don't remember a damn thing about how it works. Thanks!

well you should be ashamed. but i will answer anyways.

FIRST get a memory stick (like a 1, 2, 4 Gig) then put it in the LEFT side of the psp in the "memory stick duo" slot.

EACH game has its own way to save. Like in GTA VCS, u gotta go into your house and walk to the little disc looking icon. and other games like Flatout have autosave.

the PSP DOES NOT have internal memory built in. u MUST buy a memory stick of some sort to save.

hope that helps.

Not to be ungrateful but the "YOU NEED A MEMORY STICK" answer was so ridiculously simple that I feel insulted. On the other hand from what you said the "EACH game has its own way to save" thing is most likly the problem here. The game is God of War so if you know what the terms are for that one I'd be happy for the help.

some psp games have specific save points.. like in Grand theft auto... there is not always the pause and save feature... get to a save point... EVERY psp game has one well some you can save anywhere, but some you have to get to a point to save

That's part of the game. And the Memory Card answer shouldn't insult you. Your the one who didn't know the simple task of saving. Oh ya, slide the switch on the right side of the PSP upwards, that's how you turn it on. Now feel insulted.

It's pretty ungrateful, to be honest; you asked a very vague question, so you got a very complete answer...
