You most likely won't notice a difference on a 32 inch.

I don't really know how much of a difference there will be since I used HDMI from the get go, but depending on where you buy them HDMIs cost almost as much as component cables

Buy an HDMI cable off Amazon for around $2. I got two 6' hdmi cables for less than $6 at a local retailer near me. Don't buy the expensive monster cables, they're the same exact thing.

Highly recommended for you, since you got an HDTV. Yes, it really looks that much better! go get an HDMI cable. try using the standard AV package cables first, then use the HDMI afterwards to see the difference! i hope you know how to do the settings...

It's better to get the HDMI cables. It has done wonders for me and the way all my PS3 games look. Plus, it's the only way to get True HD for the "soon to own" blu-ray movies you are going to buy. Another plus with HDMI is that it's a simple connection vs. component; two connects vs. six. You are really better off with the HDMI cables, trust me.

I switched from component cable to HDMI last month. I didn't notice anything at all but my brother swears it looks a lot better, so I just took his word for it. I guess I don't really notice these things.
