You see, the 360has already soldabout 10 million units and proved itself worth the effort. However, the PS3 was released a year behind the 360 and has sold less than 4 million units. Why make an exclusive for a console you're not going to make money on? If they knew that their game would be a huge console seller and wanted to see the PS3 come out on topthen, yeah, they would make an exclusive. However, if you want to make money, you deliver your product to the widest audience of people possible, which is evidenced by the Wii, which is already approaching the same amount of units sold as the 360. This time next year when the PS3 and 360 have similar sales, you'll see more exclusives because more developers will have a reason to invest in the power of the PS3.

You do realize that the $50 mil MS threw at Take 2 is a loan right? As in Microsoft gets every penny back that isn't made up. The idea is that by having exclusive content, people will opt to pay $200 less for the 360, get GTA 4, and then get MORE content than the Playstation 3 version. Peter Moore and Co. aren't stupid.

Lazy developers will get what they deserve when real developers fully utilize the PS3 system, and totally blow away these cross platform wimps. Cross platform development is only 50% good - the other 50% rips off the potential of games like Haze going cross platform. 'Okay let's dumb this down so that the MS dedicated noobie players out there can get a taste'.ringbling

Right, I'm pretty sure kids can wait 7 days to get it on their 360 or pc, i though this game was going top be released next year for them.

What is the point of releasing an exclusive game for one platform for only 1 week. That's makes absolutely no sense to me. Plus the game developers better be prepared to possibly get hardly any sales from the 360 version if it comes out around the same time as halo 3.

After all the success of the 360, MS still has made money out of the xbox yet anyway. That $50 mil for GTA4 episodes is another stupid purchase. Downloadable content that I have to pay for anyway is not a selling point. $50 mil can be funded into 5 full next gen games instead of just DL content for one game. Sony's biggest lost is the cost of the PS3 and the lawsuits.

We still get the game, all this is working up is Anti-Xbox or Anti-PS3 attitudes, which suck because they are both great consoles. And anyways, it still, is just a game, hopefully a great game but we shall have to see.

lol. You'll be surprised how many people by the 360 version for the DL content and then never actually buy it. It's kind of sad, yes, but that's what's going to happen. I could put money on that. At least Sony is investing in actual games instead of downloadable content for games. Yeah, $50 million could make a couple 360-killing games. Sony will sell more units with great games than they will with downloadable content.

I'm still going to get the PS3 version anyway. And the DLC of GTA will be overpriced.

I personally couldn't care less if it is exclusive or not! What bothers me is how people that are behind this project used this "exclusive to PS3 buzz" to make themselves good PR for their game.Most of us knew that its not going to be timed exclusive, that it is going to be released on 360 at the same time, and that is fine, really but it's just their(or any othey studio btw)dirty tricky way of building hype through "exclusive BS". That is all. At least that is how i feel.
