I started Final Fantasy a while ago, and I plan on getting the platinum (though I'm not the best at getting trophies).... Do the trophies just take lots of time and determination, or does it require alot of skill? Can all the trophies be gotten after the end of the game?

yea you can get the trophies afterthe end of the game. but thos trophies are very time consuming. leveling up the crystarium isnt exactly the quickest thing. and i dont even know what the otehr trophies are but id imagine that they take awhile also

They don't really need much skill, but alot of time, IMO it isn't worth it :S

They don't take too much skill, just very time consuming as any other RPG usually is.

It took me 109 hours exact. About 40 hours of that was for a single trophy, Treasure Hunter. Some parts can be difficult, but like any turn based rpg its just tactics. Nothing is really hard about the plat, just you better be determined to get this one as its a mega ultra grind fest.

I think it's just a bunch of boring grinding, which is why I'm not going to bother with it when I play.

yeah getting a plat means a ton of grinding. It seems most people get it done in 100 to 130 hours so that's def a crazy amount of time considering most of that is usually spent after the endgame.

the all accessories and upgrades is the hardest part. Some of the items needed are so rare and if you got rid of some items without upgrading you are screwed.

What do you mean? I thought for the Treasure Hunter trophy you just had to hold each item once?

it took me 90 hours to plat ff 13. 30 or so were spent on the main story. the only tedious part was maxing all crystariums.

Yes, you do only have to hold them once but in order to do that, you need to upgrade these accessories and weapons to their next tiers. You cannot simply just buy and find every accessory and weapon end game.

I'd advise you never to sell any accessories or weapons you get throughout the game. It costs a hefty ammount of gil to do all this upgrading and gil farming is just as tedious. It took me 110 hours to plat this game.

The platinum trophy for Final Fantasy 13 is one of the longest to get. If you can do that then, My hats off to you. It is just very time consuming to get.
