fetching playlists? COD online problem

what are playlists? this morning i had to update to 3.1 and since my COD hasnt connected to a single game (fetching playlists). i'll admit you guys more than likely have absolutely nothing to offer me, so maybe i'm just ranting. i'm mad!

hmm the last time that i got stuck on "fetching playlists" the servers were down. I download 3.10 yesterday and it was working fine. I might just be the servers, its happened a couple of times
