Fallout New Vegas quest problem

I'm having a problem with a quest in Fallout New Vegass, the quest is "Render To Caeser".

After destroying the Brotherhod of Stell bunker as order by Caeser, I have to go inform Caeser that it is completed the mission, but when I get to the fort I'm attacked by The Legion itself.

I don't know what happend, I tried to go to Cottonwood first then take the boat to the fort, but I'm attacked as well at Cottonwood :?

Also my reputation with the Legion is "Accepted", so I don't understand why I'm attacked. Anyone had this problem as well?

Is Boone in your party?

Make him leave the group before going to Cottonwood.

Are you wearing the NCR ranger armor by chance? I wore that in a quest that involved the legion and I got attacked. Also do you have any certain followers in you party? Like if you have Boone you will get attacked by the legion and there are some other followers that happens with too.

I haven't any Faction armor on, and I don't have any companion with me.

I just simple left the Brotherhood Bunker and they attack me for no reason :?

Maybe they just don't like yo' face.

In all seriousness though it's probably a bug. Especially since they recently patched it (which, in Bethesda lingo seems to mean "add more bugs").

Yes I was caught out by this one myself.. The problem is that you are not permited to enter Caesers camp with Weapons..

So if you fast travel to his camp you will break his edict..

The only safe way to get go to see him is to enter via the raft at Cottonword Cove.. I guess you might try leaving all your weapons someplace but that would be weird..

That's weird. My first thought was your armor, but seeing as you're not wearing any that's faction specific, I'm stumped. This game has a bit of a reputation for it's glitches, though, sadly. If nothing else is working, try going to another settlement and sleeping for a while, maybe days, and then go back. If that doesn't work try another quest if you can, and sleep some more... Do you have any saves recently? May need to go back a step or two. I've had to restart a few quests before thanks to glitches. MC-Reap

But no problem, I tried remove the latest patch to see if was causing troubles but I still get attacked for no reason.

I even tried sneak in with a Legion armor, but when I enter Caeser tend, the dogs attack me and then the rest of people too.

sounds like you have 3 choices 1. go back to a old save. 2. go for a different endings 3. restart. i have beaten the game with 3 factions and i haven't experienced anything like this so i have no clue what to sayelbert_b_23

I wanted to do Render To Caeser for the trophy, it's the only ending I'm missing.

I guess I have to go for it again in a new save

1. Go to Lucky 38

2. Go to the console next to the elevator and dismiss all party members

3. Put on Caesar armor

4. Take off Caesar armor, go naked.

5. Check faction, if you are neutral or better, travel to Cottonwood Cove

6. If you are not attacked, talk to some people around there.

7. Go to the barge on the dock, get a ride to Fort Hill

8. Proceed normally up the hill, handing over your weapons and such.

9. If all this doesn't work, load from a previous save and see what happens, possibly the save game is bugged. Sorry bout your bad experience m8.

Boone causes them to attack you on sight, otherwise I don't know. That was my big problem with reputations, I never really got why they would attack me randomly even when I'm on good terms. Wish they would've just tossed the whole rep system out all together.

dogs atack me too sometimes just ignore them, let your companions deal with them

there are 2 bunkers, 1 is destroyed 1 isnt

Happened to me in freeside, its a glitch, you just have to wait till the next store/NPC reset (3 in game days)
