Does the PS3 have ONE exclusive that attracts non owners?

You know how people who look for a next gen system and get a Xbox solely for Halo? Does the PS3 have a "halo"? I was thinking about this all yesterday and I could not think of one game.

Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Those titles persuaded me to purchase a PS3.

Forgot about MGS4 lol.

But before that I can not think of anything else really

Wow. Talk about a faulty question. I guess the only response would be, would HALO have been Halo if the Xbox was $500? Probably not. But now that the PS3 is a reasonable price for the more average joe to start adopting, what games would appeal to them. I'd say Infamous, Killzone 2and Uncharted for sure. Gran Turismo is another very popular series.

Even though I'm not a fan of the MGS series, I'd have to say that MGS4 is the most popular exclusive on the system. I'm sure a lot of non-PS3 owners would like to have it.

The PS3 has plenty of exclusives that could make a sale, it all depends on the buyer's taste.

5 YEARS !?!?!?! OMFG LOLZORZ!!!!

Seriously though, any non-fanboy knows that the PS3 has had a good library for a while now. The console didn't sell because, games or not, the price was prohibitive to the average gamer.

The only game I hear non owners talk about is MGS4, they will say "Yeah I got a 360 but I would def get a PS3 for MGS4" no one I know personally know mentions anything else.

I think all these games are the soul purpose for owning a PS3 just like Halo, Gears of War, Fable.

Since it's a more reasonable price I imagine developers are going to show our beloved console more love.

I prefer Half-Life 2 Episode 3, or Half-Life 3. I don't care much for Left 4 Dead.

Depends on your preference. I'm not buying a Xbox just because I don't like Halo, or vice versa. Again, I didn't buy my PS3 to play LittleBigPlanet, inFAMOUS or Killzone 2 or whatever, but it made an impact. Adziboy

Yeah I don't have a PS3 but Infamous, Rachet and Clank and Metal Gear Solid 4 really attracts me to buy the PS3 ( and the price drop )

Well if Gabe Newell's fat ass wasn't so lazy to try and learn the PS3 we would've had the game already.

Orange Box IS a must, but I DID notice that it runs better on the 360 than the PS3. That's been the ONLY multiplat game that I've noticed runs better on the 360.

I don't own a PS3 but the titles that attract me to the system the most are Metal Gear Solid 4 and inFAMOUS. I plan on buying the PS3 slim.

I really dont see Kill Zone 2 as a good example, sure WE love it but I dont think many other people even know what it is? But then again I am my only friend with a PS3.

Same here none of my friends have PS3 but, I know atleast 2 of them are buying a PS3 for MAG and saying they'll get FF on PS3 because it's just 1 disc LOL.

It's simply because I hate sports games. Sports games aren't the best examples to use because of new annnual releases.
