COD4 patch causing trouble for anyone?

Did the patch last night and had the worst night lag and connection ever on COD4. Everyone I was playing with (friends list and clan) ended up getting off and complaining about it.

Anyone else have troubles or know whats up?

Think I might make the jump to R6V2 if this is persistent.

not me at least .. no lag just kinda desoriented when someone kill me and the camera was upsidedown

no lag, the only weird thing was that i was playing with a guy from my clan, and he had to leave in the middle of a game (he was not the host). Well he left and my screen just went black then it kicked me all the way out to the XMB start up menu (where you select the games, brower, store, settings etc..) so i just turned it off. Weird because ive never nad that happen before. Sure ive had it freeze before buy nothing like that.

When I just installed the patch, the first game I played I was lagging like crazy. But, after that it was normal.

What was wrong with the ACOG scopes that's supposedly fixed? I played last night and it seemed like the accuracy was a little better but it could have been my imagination.

The patch made everything a lot better for me. First time in over two months that I played a series of games without having a host error and played lag free the whole time. COD4 is back!

the new sniper accuarcy is good though, i remember before i would have my cross hairs on a stationary targets chest, pull the trigger and nothing, buy now it actually registers the hit

Played today. Host drop is still there. You still get booted back to the lobby and pt "breaks". Still get dropped into the middle of games where people can have 15+ kills already. Individual mics can be silenced by selecting the desired person/mic. Seen the air strike, grenade, and claymore kill cams. Game can still end with everyone having 0ks, 0Ds but still not be a tie due to host ending game. Haven't tried the sniper guns out yet.

I couldnt connect to the first match I tried after getting the patch. And the second I played was a bit laggy. Nice job IW!

Yeah - it was worse for me too. Crap respawns, lost connections and worse accuracy on the M16 (red laser dot has to be right on target for long shots, on the edge of the enemy's outline may now miss - sucks - more time to aim which gets you yourself killed).

me i been getting intense lag like when your walking out a building and all the suddenly your 6 feet back but everything else is fine
