Iam wondering which game I should buy, I cant do both as Iam very broke at the moment, have alot of car repairs to make, and a low salary means I can barely afford to get one :( but which one?, I loved Bioshock 1, but Heavy rain also looks really awesome and epic and very unique Iam not sure which one I should go for....

Anyone with advice.

I loved the first game though very very much, Im also worried that Heavy Rain is too graphical, like near porn extent of graphical stuff...? or is it less?

Get Heavy Rain. Since you've played Bioshock 1 it's going to feel more of the same to you, except for the combat (being able to use plasmids and weapons at the same time). Heavy Rain however is an experience like no other. i think it's a must buy.

I'm going with Heavy Rain, but my brother just bought Bioshock so it looks like I have my bases covered. :)

personally I didn't think Bioshock called for a sequal and I doubt it will impress me as much as the original.

Porn? No. More like the amount of nudity you'd see in a typical R-rated movie. Big difference.

Bioshock 2 is an incredible game, so far very underrated. Much better then the 1st one.

That is my worry, so it is not acceptable to play around a family...? I dont want my parents rocking in and thinking what the hell is he playing an attempting to smash my playstation or something :P even though im 18.

Seriously? Yes, because I have a 9 year old brother who well, will be around for the entire time, im fine if its simply a movie scene , but if Im having to control a sex scene realtime then no.

Its not just that, I would never and will never feel comfortable playing a sexual game infront of anyone but cousins or friends.

Thats all I wanted to know, thanks!, Im alright with a few cutscenes with it, I did play all the 3D GTA's :P but if I had to actually control a sexual scene I dont know many people who would feel comfortable doing it around family members.

Well, you do control a striptease, so you may not be comfortable playing that around family members.

If you played Bioshock 1 you have played Bioschock 2, just new weapons and a few new enemies...but I bought it and I am freakin loving it thus far.

But after playing the Heavy Rain demo last night I know that is a day one buy for me...and why is everyone complaining that its to "graphic" I mean it is rated M and if you cant handle it dont get it?

Either way you are likely to get an interesting story. Are you more interested in gameplay or passivity?

Tough one. I'm getting both (well I already got BioShock 2) :P I'd probably lean more towards Heavy Rain though. Its something completely different from what you're probably used to playing so its always nice to experience new things. Try out the demo and see if you like it. If not got with BioShock.

It depends. Some think Heavy Rain is a boring game just because their is no shooting. But IMO, I would go for Heavy Rain.

I have BioShock2 (love it) and am getting HR on Tuesday. I'd recommend trying the HR demo if you haven't already... you might find that you don't like the controls or the pacing. Given the choice, I'd probably recommend HR too because it's unique, and we need to support devs that are doing something different.

Both are really cool extremely unique games but i'm gonna stick to Bioshock. It's just mind blowingly amazing. Seriously. The amount of effort put into the story is dizzying.

I've heard a lot of people saying that BioShock 2 is either much easier or harder than the first one. I don't see it. I'm playing on normal with no vita chambers and it seems like the same difficulty as the first one to me.

Heavy Rain for sure. Bioshock 2 seems cool, but Heay Rain is something truely unique and special. Wait for Bioshock 2 to drop in price. If I could only get one it would be Heavy Rain.

Are You sure you don't want to get Bad Company 2?!!! Apparenty thats getting some amazing revies.

If you are short on cash you could just rent both. I'm buying Heavy Rain because I want to keep it in my collection of games. Bioshock is good, but isn't special in any way, and is short enough to play through in a rental.
