Batman: Arkham Asylum This is the most amazing game I've played since MGS4 (and I wasn't even expecting much from it prior to release). I don't know if even Uncharted 2 can top it for me.
I have a very good feeling about Uncharted 2. I don't think I'll enjoy any game as much as I'll enjoy Uncharted 2. And that's saying a lot, because rumors point to a 2009 release for GT5. And you really can't overlook Modern Warfare 2.

You haven't even played it yet... I haven't played the full version, true, but the BETA, YES (still playing it now Level 30) This BETA is better than most of full games out there imo

I haven't played the full version, true, but the BETA, YES (still playing it now Level 30) This BETA is better than most of full games out there imo Eh, the beta is just multiplayer - which isn't even the main draw of the series. I enjoyed it, but certainly not enough to label it GOTY.

Sure its not the main draw, but it is still very good with plenty of variety in game modes (single or multiplayer) As for Batman an Infamous, here are my thoughts: Infamous-Somewhat Repetitive in many aspects (missions, enemies, etc) Batman- Good gameplay, story was too short and easy

I kinda feel like you do. I was in the first Uncharted 2 beta and I was awestruck by how good it was. I think they've found the perfect balance between fun, tactics and overall challenge. I never thought I could have as much fun online as I had in Battlefield: Bad Company but Uncharted 2 proved me wrong.
Why is Prototype up there? Lol, I thought it was a good game, but certainly far from one of the best this year.
Anyway, out of those, my favorite is Batman. KZ2 is a really close 2nd. inFamous was worth playing through twice, but after that I had no reason to play it. I platinumed the game in 8 days btw.

even though Uncharted 2 will undoubtedly be a better game, Batman will still be GOTY. It was a surprise for all of us. No one expected it to be any good, just another generic licensed game, but then it blows everyone away. Plus, if Nathan Drake and Batman had a one-on-one fight, Batman would win. Batman always wins.
