Army of Two : getting it?

I am...because of the online co-op :D and I like 3rd person shooters.

The gameplay looks like the Club and it was way too slow. Tho, TPS is cool but, that's what Warhawk is for.

Highly doubtful. Too many shooters.

Maybe, trailers look cool, gameplay video (old) looked like crap so i hope they made it better.

If good i have a m8 to play with online so that would make it that much better.

i'm thinking of getting it, i think it would be fun to play online/offline co-op. I'll try the demo first if its out in the PS Store.

Because;
-environments look unrealistic (not in a graphical sense)
-story looks bland
-nothing innovative
-minimal time and effort put into the game (even on the official website one of the trailers still says release date '07)
-no advertising for PS3 version + EA = Awful, shoddy port from 360.

It's yes for me this game grabbed my interest from day 1. According to Play.com the game is scheduled to be released in 2 weeks (in Europe). Link below.

Oh I'll be getting Haze, no doubt about that. Army of Two is a whole different animal than Haze. Co-op 3PS as opposed to FPS

FPS = 1st Person Shooter = Everybody you see, you shoot.

TPS = 3rd Person Shooter = Every 3rd person you see, you shoot.

When will people learn the difference between FPS and 3rd person?

Well, lots of people are getting it :o Considering it's EA XD

I am renting with intention to buy. Started this with UT3 and already saved $50 :)

I really like the co-op aspect. True co-op required also the online vs other sounds real cool with more than run and gun and no coordination. People that are really working together will probably be able to own better individual players that only care about their own stats etc. However, gameplay etc could make it a rent only

Some of the early comments call the SP campaign rubbish and the co-op campaign (same one btw) the smartest, most well thought out co-op ever. The leads me to the tentative conclusion that this game is based around co-op and has great co-op game mechanics. It also leads me to believe that their AI guys aren't up to simulating a decent human partner so without a partner the campaign falls flat.

I'll be getting it for the co-op, of course, because even if it flops it has enough new gameplay devices that I'll have to play it to know WHY it flopped.

Yeah, it does look rubbish. This is why I'm highly skeptical, and will wait it out to see.
