Hi Chaps,

I've just finished Fallout Vegas in Hardcore mode and was wondering if anyone else preferred the game like this?

Having played through Fallout3 I found it hard going to begin with having to eat/drink and sleep but soon adapted to it.

The slow healing etc. just mean you don't have an instant bailout in the middle of combat so strategy is needed.

I like strategy!!

Oink!

I don't dislike it but I think it's an unecessary drag. It basicly just slows down your progress without really making the game much harder.

If you enjoyed it, great. I'm glad that it's optional.

I love hardcore mode simply because, I hate the campaign, I think the missions are pretty boring I just love cruising round the wasteland scavaging - and needing food, drink and sleep just adds that extra element of difficulty and realism and so yeah I love it.

It just became irritating, pretty useless mode IMO.
