A game that received bad ratings but you still enjoy

For me its army of two, i know its rated a 6.5 but truthfully its one of my favorite games this gen.

Co-op is loads of fun :D

for me its dynasty warriors series, the whole series got ratings around only 6. but the user ratings are high. i enjoy this game alot and i never get tired of it.

All-time: Rap Jams on SNES:P Its been on almost every "Worst 10 Games Ever" list and yet I still found it enjoyable. I mean, come on, who can't enjoy a game that lets you play basketball with Coolie, Queen Latifa, and MC Lyte:)

Current Gen: The lowest GS rated game I have is Ratchet & Clank and I thought it was really good. It was a lot better than the 7.5 they gave it:|

and i dont know which score nfs pro street got.. but no one likes it and i enjoy it a lot

Army of Two is a great game I think too. Another one is Fracture.

Siletn Hill 5 Homecoming. beat it twice already and I think it is one of the best Silent Hill games.

Man, Fracture is Horrible...than again I am biased against shooters on the console..probably because they always suck.

I cannot recollect how many bashed games I have enjoyed in all generations so I will only mention the ones I enjoyed this gen.

Too Human - One of the most fun games I have played this year, score: 5.5

Disgaea 3: Better then 7.5 in my opinion, with all the replayability.

Folklore - One of the best games I have had on the PS3, I would give it at least an 8.3, not a 7.

Edit: Oh, and of course Silent Hill: Homecoming. :)

SW: Force unleashed (not super-low, but still)

From what I understand...the complaint with SH was that is wasn't scary,that is was more of a action game. That's cool with me because I plan on picking it up anyway.lol

I hated it for just that reason, there was a time silent hill games were designed for people like me. :(

Siren however, is my favorite game this gen, and team silent is still my favorite developers. F U double Helix. ( they dont deserve that, yet ill never play another one of there games, cause when i think about them i cringe for a love lost.)

glad to see im not the only one to like this game, its problem was it was ahead of its time..... things like regenerating health and use of cover werent popular on the ps2, like it is on all current gen games

Very true. Do you remember how cool it was to shoot blindly around a corner for the first time?! Or to have a standoff in the middle of an intersection with a civilian?!

Siren: Blood Curse - One of the best survival horror games I've ever played. It takes the concept of the original game and pretty much perfects it. Has an excellent mind**** of a story too.

Dark Sector - The story is utter nonsense, but the gameplay is top notch and a whole lot of fun. The glaive is an awesome weapon to mess around with.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed - Not the best SW game, but it does what it set out to do. The story is an excellent addition to the SW mythos (probably would have made for a better movie than The Clone Wars) and being able to let rip with the force is a lot of fun.

Silent Hill: Homecoming - I really, really don't see where the bad reviews are coming from. At all :|. This is definitely one of my favourite games in the series. It perfectly captures the feel of the original games while still very much being it's own beast. Double Helix did a fine job and I hope they get another opportunity to do another SH game.

dark sector is bashed by many but i like it alot. i still pop it in every once in a while, ive beaten it like 3 times so far.inf1uence

yeah I love Dark sector I just started a new game yesterday.

That is strange because I am a huge SH fan and second one being my favorite this one is the colseset thing to it. Did you even beat the new one? The repaly value is awesome and the game is a blast to play for once. It still is just as creepy as previous ones but none of them really scared me really. The combat isn't as stupid anymore and you don't wonder why at a world of strange things like that Harry the idiots can't manage to swing a pipe faster than a 2 year old.

If anything this one isn't less scarry but rahter less frustrating and annoying. The 4th one is by far the most tedius and painful to play.

More of an action game? you mean the way they raped resident evil with the 4th one? So it was good..but it wasn't resident evil anymore. More action horror than survival horror. I assure you Silent Hill 5 still feels like Silent Hill at the roots and is about ammo conservation and careful comabt...not just action hog wash.
