Out of 70 reviews so far on metacritic, this game has a 95 out of 100 metacritic score. Playstation is really kicking *$# lately. I said I would hold off buying it because my backlog of games but I think I will get this game sooner than I thought. It is doing much better than I thought. So many great games in 2012 and 2013!

I'm about 5 or 6 hours in and loving it. If you like Uncharted and zombie apocalypse games, it doesn't get better than this. The save glitch apparently only affected people who played multiplayer then tried to play single player. I haven't experienced any problems because I always finish the single player before bothering with multiplayer.

But I wonder if it's good... Honestly, "Prodessional" Reviews have been really wonky for the past generation. Can't trust them

Nope just not a brainwashed sony arse licker.

Game has too many problems to be 10/10 game, uncharted was better hell I even think Tomb raider reboot was better. It starts off strong but quickly goes down hill after that 8 maybe 9 out of 10 but it's definitely not 10/10 material.

I too agree its not a 10/10, there are some issues with it.  But it is so well made that I really do believe that anything lower than a 9.0/10 would not do the game justice.

50% through this game it is everything I was hoping for. The story is exceptional, the voice acting is some of the best i've heard, and I can't put down the controller. I've played for 6-7 hours and finally stopped due to the fam wanting to watch tv. The beginning of the game really stood out as something special. Within 10 minutes I was emotionally involved. Trust me, if you have kids of your own it will be hard to play through. Can't wait to see what comes next.Lostboy1224

The beginning was a little slow (before you escort Ellie), but boy has the game picked up. I can't put the controller down. I'm loving every second thus far.
