Question about PS plus sharing account

A friend has his account signed with PS plus, he gave me is user name and password to see if we can share the free games, is this possible?

Hmm, but another user on the same system can use the content downloaded from the account with PS+ if I remember correctly. You just wouldn't be able to use the Online Storage and other few small benefits that come with PS+

Yes

Simply setup a user account on your ps3, and sign into his psn on that account, download any relevant games from his download list on the ps store and let them download, you can install, run and patch them from your account so no need to stay signed in since the very act of downloading activates your ps3 for games on his account.

Note: For content purchased before november 17th 2011 its 5 activations for games, After that its 2 activations. so anything he purchased or was apart of playstation plus before that date can be played by 5 different ps3s, after that date its limited to 2 ps3s.

It's against Sony's TOS yes.

If they decide that the IP that's downloading the games is too far apart too often they'll disable the account.
