PS4 Camera worth buying?

I've been pondering my next purchase for the PS4. Is the camera worth buying, how many of you guys have it and what do you do with it? I don't even have a second controller for the system yet (if the Vita isn't counted), should I get one instead?

Shadow of Mordor seems like a good purchase at the moment, Dying light too. I already have Bloodborne, GTAV, The Last of Us, Battlefield 4, COD: AW, Killzone, Tomb Raider, Infamous SS/Second Light, MGS:GZ, Dead Nation and Outlast.

i bought the camera along with the console in december 2013 and i can say quite frankly that it's just a gimmick if you are not streaming or video chatting... get or save your money for a spare controller instead... :)

How much time did you spend in the playroom? :P

The PlayStation Camera is only worth getting if you are really into streaming your gameplay videos. or if you are wanting to start. but outside of that it is not worth it. Not many games use the camera. So video chatting via Skype could be the main use for the PlayStation camera.

Not worth it, I've had mine since the beginning, and I've yet to use it, the playroom is fun for about half an hour there is nothing to do in it really, the only benefit it gives you, is for streaming or it can be used as a mic in online games, thats it, it will be used with the vr headset there bringing out sometime next year i believe

I bought it as a bundle with the console. I thought it might be a new addition, but I unplugged it roughly a week after I bought the console. I haven't used it since, and I am happy with the extended space on my entertainment center :)
