Problem with bloodborne saves.

Ok,so me and my roommate both preordered bloodborne and i got mine first.

So i let him borrow it and play it while i was at work

Today his copy arrived but the main ps4 menu shows as if though there are two copies of of the game installed(he had to install his copy again and update it again) and his saves from my copy dont work with his..

Anyone knows the reason for this? Both games are the same region and from the same retailer..
