Not enough people are playing Outlast...

Seriously. I have spoken to plenty of friends and accomplices who have absolutely no interest in downloading this game... First of all, it's free... Duh? That alone should be incentive enough for people to hop on board and begin playing Outlast.

Second? The game is a stellar first outing from Red Barrels. The atmosphere, tension, constant obstacles, and sound design are top of line in the horror genre. Sure it suffers a bit from enemy repetitiveness and you can pretty much call exactly when and which enemies are going to appear by the half way point of the game, but these are hardly a bane on the overall experience.

If you even have a SLIGHT interest in horror games get this game now! Hell, if you have a PS4 there is really NO excuse for skipping this free (if you have PSN) romp in the dark.

As long as you like the game, that's all that matters. Your friends are just not interested....leave it alone, me personally I love the game, as I know most people here are tired of hearing me say it! lol The game has been getting a lot of positive feedback in general, but no game is going to be perfect for everybody.

I don't like the idea of "leaving it alone." I want this developer to find as much success as they deserve and spreading the word is the best I believe I can help!

The game is bona fide crap. There is no atmosphere. This is no tension. Just a bunch of extremely predictable jump scares. I had to put it down after 20 minutes, I couldn't take it any more.

That game was awesome.

I'll play it once I have a PS4. I already added it to my account on the browser store.

Many are just watching other people play it on Twitch.

I mean, I downloaded it because I pay for PS+, and ps4 games disappear after a month, but I don't really plan on playing it. Running around a horrifying asylum with no way to defend myself sounds like the exact opposite of an enjoyable experience.

Outlast has already had enough success to warrant a franchise, they already have a prequel on the way through DLC

Outlast is a nice PS+ throw in. A decent game for what it is. Outlast is an alright game.

Agreed. It just has bad gameplay and depends on atmospheric gimmicks for everything. When that breaks down you have nothing.
