If you haven't already, I would suggest going through and bumping up the "color" slider in the menu of your television. When I bought my LCD TV, the color slider was almost at the lowest setting, giving the image nearly a black and white look, with some hints of color. Once I moved up the slider everything was fine. If that doesn't work, Id check the cables on another TV. If theyre good, you might have a defective TV.

is it possible you plugged the yellow cable into a component jack on the back of the TV.. the red green blue ones that would give you a black and white picture If you got a new TV get an HDMI cable can't plug those puppies in wrong.

do you have an dvd player or other game system to hook up to your tv? I would try a diff system and if it still doesn't work take back your new tv.

Take the TV back. As with any electronic device, there's a possibility its defective.

We had that as well. No color.
It is important to set the right AV.

Our tv is on AV3 and our PS3 is on AV1.
Hope that helps you?!
