Need I bee worried?

I know its my first post, but i've been lurking around reading :)

Im in the UK and was wondering do you think there is any need to worry about my ps4 preorder, I only mention it as i've been reading about the issues with some of the consoles released on the 15th.

You will be just fine. The rate of issues is a lot smaller than it seems I think. Worst case scenario is you get a new one two weeks later...it's under warranty. It's a launch console...this stuff happens, but odds are you will be gaming away just fine.

They are very rare, but are posted because the people that it happens to are giving their opinion. Its 0.04% of PS4s at most are believed to have any failures. I have 2 since morning of launch & they work fine.

Maybe 4000 of 1.5 million have had failures.

Dude, if you really want it just buy it.

I preorderd in june, than around launch I was hearing about all the issues, but I stuck with my purchase and I don't regret it one bit.

Even if something goes wrong, that's what warranty is for.

Stay away from system wars.

thanks guys... i just wanted some clarity, i didnt realise the issue was so small i thought it was 4% of 1m consoles, which still is rather low, but is more concerning tha .4% of 1.5m.

just two more weeks to wait then.
