sorry for the double post, and P.S if that didnt work, go to setting and restore ps3 defualt settings adn it should go back to 0000 and u should be good, now behave we dont want ur parents finding out wat u do with ur ps3 late at night lol, j.k
ok I had that problem too. Here is how I changed it. I went to settings--> system settings-->Restore Default. Its going to restore the password to 0000. Don't worry it's not going to delete anything. Good luck
