Dark Souls II Beta

Have you guys managed to play Dark Souls II the beta version?

I tried multiple times to connect to the game server, but it failed miserably.

You can only play it at certain time when the servers are live. I think the next time is on Saturday.

@ryrulez: Thank you. I also heard that 30.000 gamers will be able to play the beta, at the same time somehow.

You do know that you can download the beta from PSN? I did it, and I just spent two hours playing in the CBT. You get to choose between 5 different characters (warrior, soldier, magician etc.) and get to play around with a very small portion of the map. The game looks exactly the same as Dark Souls. Enemies are the same, mostly. You have your zombies/dredglings, knights in various forms, and some bigger enemies. You also get to fight a boss in the CBT, the "Executioner's Chariot".

I didn't want to play the beta because I want the game to be fresh to me when I get it.
