can i charge my psp while its off?

can i charge my psp on the computer while its off cuz when i flick the power swicth it wont turn on help me:oops:

no, you have to turn it on, go to settings and then go to usb connection then itll charge

...first, no, in order to charge through a computer it has to be on and in usb mode.
And it won't turn on? Thats not good, check the battery, charge through AC. If it doesn't turn on, I hope you have a warrenty.
