sadly, the most violent game i've ever played basically goes to the Mortal Kombat games, but i can agree on GoW being pretty bad, just by the screenshots i've seen
Regarding ultra violent games for no reason Jaws wins with a long trench, Scarface is also very sadistic, specially with the chainsaw. GoW too is very violent and bloody. But Jaws, if you eat half a man, you can see their guts hanging from the bodies(disgussting). and you can kill them in various ways. çBut thats all the fun the game can give, and it only last for 5 minutes. The game is very bad afterward, but I loved the design of the shark, very well done.
Postal 2, that game is so wrong on so many levels.

Like the devs themselves have said; "It's a parody of the american society". But ok, it's violent anyway.
If we're counting in pc games too I'd add "blip & blop"; Animated violence with lotsa blood. Can be downloaded for free (freeware) at: http://www.loaded-studio.com/blip&blop.phpÂ
God of War is violent, but it has a purpose. Grand theft auto, any one really, is just senseless violence and mass murder, killing hookers and cops alike. dam its a good game :)
I agree on that one. Watching your entire pikmin army get decimated in seconds is brutal by a boss or watching them all drown. The most violent game with out blood and its made by nintendo.

IMHO it would have to be The Punisher...with how ever many wayss you can kill people and how brutal you could picture them its terrible...it was also so bad that some of the kills had to be censored for the game to be released in the U.S....it wasn't just blood flying everywhere it was the brutal ways you could spill the blood
Resident Evil 4, Manhunt, God of War, any GTA games and old school Mortal Kombat games have been pretty darn violent... the more reason to play of course:twisted:
