RPGs with love stories

FF7 and FF8 are based on romance and stuff,
what are some other RPGs like them?

For me, the top love story in a RPG is Lunar: The Silver Star Story. Pretty good (and old) game. The story is amazing. it almost made me cry. To bad it's pretty hard to find a copy theese days. It was a SegaCD game. them was ported (only in ***) to the Saturn and finaly in english for the PS1, like 5-6 years after was first released in SegaCD. If you can find one, buy it!

Yeah. Japanese are practically in love with romance.

They all have romance in them, some have it as a more central plot point than others. FFVII was not about love, FFVIII is. FFIX has a love background, FFX took love more seriously once more. FFXII seemed like a throwback to the old days when love was in small doses.

Aside from that from all the games in my collection, I can guess love is there as a secondary plot device no more.

Any Bioware game has some form of love.

My two top pics would have to be FFVIII and FFX.

I might be alone here but I did not like the love story in Final Fantasy 8. I couldn't sympathize with the characters at all. At one end of the spectrum you had the antisocial quiet guy (wait, didn't we do this in the last game?) and on the other end the cheerful slightly hyperactive pretty girl with a destiny (wait, Aeris, you're alive?!) granted character models in JRPG's get reused A LOT, but the similarities between 7 and 8 were so obvious it was like playing the same characters again. Except I didn't like them as much this time around.

I liked the love story in 9 better. I may or may not have gotten a little teary eyed at the end. Just a bit.

That has got to be one of the best games ever! IMO of course. Everywhere i look for it, it is at least $50 or more. its too rare. But nevertheless it is a great game

most of the final fantasy's, Xenogears, Star Ocean: second story, Lunar: Silver Star story.

All of them are really good games.

Persona 3 ....awesome polygamistic dating(depending on how you use your days).

FFX incredibly predictable cheesy love story.

FFVIII good puppy love content.

DragonQuest 8 has a great lovey- dovey ending.

Shining force neo - horrible voice acting and same cheesy content.
