I've had Max Memory cards fail on me before and I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.If you don't know what these are they say max memory on them and can hold 32 or 64 mb of memory.

They're not known for their reliability, in fact most non-Sony memory cards aren't. But I've had a Max Memory Card (64MB) for over 2 years and it still works.

My 64 mb works fine, which I've had for well over a year. There's a bug though that makes it so it only has 32 mb on it, so if you do buy one, check to make sure it is indeed 64 before putting anything onto it.

Actually, you shouldn't be using non-Sony memory cards in the system in the first place, so i wouldn't be surprised if it fails.

I don't use 3rd party memory cards because I have heard too many horror stories about them.

I never use any other memory cards besides Sony's. Actually most of my accessories are Sony except for the 2 new wireless controllers from Logitech for my PS2. Almost all of my Computer Accessories are Logitech so I trust them.

I've had problems with 3rd party memory cards back in the PS1 days, so I've never tried them on the PS2 as I don't want to take that risk.

I had it fail on MLB 07 which really ticked me off because I spent at least 20 hours on that file it corrupted. I still use them though. I have sony memory cards too so I use those on some games.
