It will be six by the end of this year and it still works great. I've never used it to watch DVD's so that might be a factor but it's had some abuse from DIsgaea and Disgaea 2. Probably 250 - 300 hours of gameplay just between those 2 games. I'll get a slim with insurance when this one dies. FATTY R.I.P.

I have the fatty one and it is now 6 years old and runs like the first day i bought it. and i still do play it everyday until i can buy a brokebox-360 or ps-3

I have two PS2. The older is the fatty, and it has like 5 years. The other, the Slim, is like 2 years and a half.

Had the fat one since 2001, power supply burnt out last week. Bought a silver one yesterday cuzguitar hero 1,2,3 have problems working on the ps3.

I got my Playstation 2 back in 2001 shortly after it was released. About 3 months having my PS2 my house was broken into. They stole PS2, N64, and PS1 and all my sweet games... :(

Six years later I got the platnum edition PS2.
