Best and worst ending

What game had the best ending and what gamehad the worst ending

Forme the best ending has to be Chrono Cross or FF7 the worst is Lunar SSS

Worst: Darkwatch it almost made me kill

Grandia III and Stella Deus are among the worst for me, they both lacked imagination. I dont remember Stella Deus too well (only that I disliked it) but in Grandia III, how cliche can you get with the hero marrying the heroine and you see a little kid, how... fulfilling...

As for the best endings, Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, FFX and the first Xenosaga struck a cord. I found them all to be moving and thought provoking.

worst: the bad ending on FFX-2

Best: Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Hitman: Blood Money (awesome shooting everyone in the church, whoa that sounds so wrong).

Worst: Jak III (funny twist before the ending but after that twist it was boring and unsatisfying).

Worst: Can't think of any for PS2 but nothing can beat the ending of Karnov (NES)!Hahaha!

Worst: Black (the game is good but you bust yourself to get through that damn last room and there's... nothing...)

Worst ending: ammm damn i just love all ps2 games, je. Can't remember a bad ending, cause if the ending sucks i tend to forgot that ending. 8)

Worst Ending

1) Resident Evil 4. Gameplay is amazing and the cut sequences with in the game are pretty good. However as for endings, this was a wimperwhich Capcom could have made so much better. Good thing the play backreels are available upon completion.

2) God Father. Ending wasnot worth all the time and effortto finish the game. Although fun to play, the ending was rushed.No deleted scenes as a bonus? What a shame!

3) God Hand. I found the game tough. The developers could have at least made the ending worth the ordeal.

4) Jak & Dexter. With the amount of time needed to accomplish the game, it sure had a short ending.

Best ending sequence

1) MGS 1,2 and 3. Really makes one want to finish these games since the endings are never a let down.The endings last long and are a treat to watch.

2) FFX-2 "Good Ending". That's the ending I wished FFX had. On aside note,SquareEnix (Squaresoft)has generallylearned to reward theirgamers with decent to fantastic game endings.

3) God of War 2. One word about the ending... Intense.Just wish it could have been longer.

4) Legacy of Kain Defiance. A fitting end to a great series.

From what I've played, I'd probably have to go with MGS2 as worst ending. Nothing about it was satisfying, and I don't care if that was the point or not... the point was that it didn't really have a point. :|

On the other hand, MGS3's ending was sublime.

i didnt like that it ended nothing. the whole game was about killing zeus. and what happened? to be continued...

it just seemed like the dev's were begging everyone to buy the 3rd when they had already made a game that will sell many gow3's anyway.

IMO GoW2 doesn't have an ending. The "ending" of GoW2will most likely be the beginning of GoW3. To be continued is notan ending.

Best:

Metal Gear Solid 3 (it's likewatching a greatending for a great movie)

Kingdom Hearts 2 (the final confrontation and the ending in this game are a perfect way to finish BOTH kingdom hearts 1 and this, it really tied both games perfectly at the very end)

God of War (it was simple and short, yetit was the PERFECT ending for thisgame and anyone who plays it and beats it spoiler-free all the way willagree)

Good:

Final Fantasy X (great ending, but it really deserved to have X-2's good ending attached to it to take it from good to best; everything was great about it except the resolution for Tidus...... and if you think about it, the real ending for X is the one in X-2, so that even if the game is superb its ending is just good, but not "best" material)

Bad:

Jak and Daxter (this ending was very short and mediocre, it was like saying "hey get ready for Jak 2 we willleave this one here" luckily Jak 2 was a great sequel so I did not pay much attention to this ending)

Worst ending out of my 30 ps2 games:

Shadow of the Colossus (for real!!!I felt like I wanted to throw the game to the garbage after I watched that, I expected a superb and memorable ending because of all the good comments I heard from some friends and when I saw THAT I was completely dissapointed, I mean you go through all the frustrating battles just to see that at the end! BS!!!!)

Best: MGS2-An interesting ending

Worst: MGS3-So boring!

Best Ending: God of War (I haven't finished MGS3 yet, so I might change my opinion)

Worst Ending: Dunno, haven't played any PS2 game with a bad ending...
