Your favorite PC games / What are you playing right now?

What are your favorite PC games, dating back to when you started gaming? What really took a hold of you like no other game?

For me, immersion value is very important, as is plot most of the time.

I've never quite been so immersed as I was with Fallout 3 for the atmospheric value, and WoW was just a 3 year plague of enjoyment.
Other notable mentions would have to be Sim Copter, Diablo 2 and Starcraft while growing up.

I'm currently playing Demigod, Fallout 3 (Third Play-through), and attempting Oblivion for a second time.
Awaiting SC2 and Diablo 3 like no other games I've ever awaited it feels like.

I'm playing Seven Kingdoms II and Myth: The Fallen Lords.

The game that has without a doubt, received more of my dedicated gameplay hours than any other, would have to be CS. I've been playing since 2001 so I'd probably have to stick that in my "favourite game of all time" category.

Games that I'm currently playing include Fallout 3 (which is awesome), Crysis: Warhead and Empire: Total War.

OH, and Left 4 Dead... one of the greatest, most enjoyable games ever created! Multiplayer genius!

AoE2 has also been a favourite for many years and the Rainbow games have also gotten a lot of play time.

I'm not sure what I'm looking forward to though... I haven't really thought about it.

I've been playing BF:Heroes in between study.

*Edit: And my favourite games of all time are Half Life and System Shock 2.

My favs include

NWN1+all expansions - My friends and I played it for hours on end

Starcraft- played for hours again with friends

Warcraft3TFT-Lanned with friends for hours on end as well.

Midtown Madenss 2- this game introduced me and got me into game modding

GTR2- I've clocked 100s of hours in due to mods, I used to love GranTurismo series until I played GTR2.I also mod GTR2

Day of Defeat Source- Still play this today, my favorite online multiplayer game.

Currently- Tryign to beat Gears Of War, Crysis Wars sparingly, CSSource sparingly, of course DoD Source.

Currently, I'm playing Left 4 Dead on the PC. I feel kidda bored because there are not many interesting PC games (to me, at least) of late... However, recently I've just picked up old games like "The Curse of Monkey Island" and thinking of playing Heroes: Might and Magic series again.

Currently playing Guild Wars cause of some problems with my video card.

I don't care to think of what my favorite games are, so I will just say the game I have been playing. I have been playing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. I couldn't find my PC controller because I had it packed away from not using it.Well I found it and finally get to play it. Now that I am far enough into the game to judge, I have to say it is better than GTA4 (except in graphics). I skipped GTA:SA on PS2 and picked it up for $10 at Wal-Mart almost a year ago. Before I got it, I thought GTA4 was the best GTA game, but no more. I can't believe how badly they downgraded GTA4 from GTA:SA. They have taken so much out of the game.

i have bioshock, oblivion, demigod.

currently playing demigod, my favorite game so far.

Right now I'm skimming Zenoclash, The Longest Journey (Beat Dreamfall, never played TLJ), and Neverwinter Nights 2. I really don't get too much time to play, though. I think I read these forums more then I actually game :D If anything, I usually play Team Fortress 2 some late nights. I also have a small fetish for abandonware/graveware and Indie games. I picked up Blade Runner and The Path not too long ago. The Path rapes my mind sideways, but I digress.

My favorites are the Heroes of Might and Magic series, Vampire the Masquarade: Bloodlines, and anything that Blizzard makes (I know; don't hate), to name a few. I have too many favorites. The list of games that I don't like is far smaller then the list of games that I favor.

I'm playing mainly Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Both great games XD

Right now im playing Planescape Torment for the 50000th time and Neverwinter Nights 2

My faves are:

Dark Age Of Camelot (In its prime nothing compared to it and dont think ever will probably my favourite game of all time and one that has the most gaming memorys, 100's assaulting a castle with 100's on the walls defending. MMO's are scaling down and going backwards these days)

Diablo 2 (So addictive and so many hours spent PVPing)

Guild Wars (2000+ hours spent playing for less than 60GBP total spent on all 3 games -bargain-)

Unreal Tournament

Jedi knight 2 (Fantastic game online, and great modding community. Why cant they make a console game with lightsaber combat this good)

Mech Warrior series ( Great games, lots of customization and strategy built into a sort of shooter)

Sacrifice (So unique and so much fun to play, played it on a makeshift LAN around a friends house a few times. Such a shame it never got the popularity it deserved)

The only PC game i still play is Guild Wars occasionally im more of a console gamer right now but demigod is out here tommorrow and i have been looking forward to it.

I've just been playing WWII Online, X3 Reunion, and some Multiwinia.

Well, I'm currently playing Left 4 Dead, Braid, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. I've got Devil May Cry 4 and Mass Effect waiting for me to get around to them aswell.

Probably the best HL1 mod ever made, besides the now deceased Firearms.

Heck if it wasn't for Crysis Wars, this is probably one of the most intense multiplayer games period.
