Just got new power supply, doesn't fit in the case though. Hate how newegg doesn't tell you this stuff :( Any ideas on how to properly find out about size for a reorder of a diffrent one?

Also, does that seem like it will work with my older Intel Pentium 4 with AGP graphics cards. I want to know the size of this thing.

ATX power supplies are a standard form factor that should fit in all regular computer cases. The exception to that rule are SFF PC's, or when companies like Dell or HP go out of their way to sell their PCs inside cases that can't fit ATX power supplies. :) Are you in either of the two situations?

You need to get a PSU from gateway then.  I have a Dell that can only be replaced with Dell PSU's-

gateway pretty much did the same

Yup those are really the only reasons why the PSU wouldn't fit, unless of course he somehow installed it wrong. That would be hard to do though as they only go in really one way.

Home Depot sells these nice Husky 3# sledge hammers, one of those could persuade the PSU to fit :) Seriously though how much is it off in the non fit department? You may be able to adjust the case a bit to accept the PSU. I wouldn't really mess with the PSU as they are quite dangerous if you take them apart or try to cut them down with a saw.Â
